CREATIVE DIRECTION & PRODUCTION APPROACH:
The campaign launched a limited-edition collaboration that introduced Canopy’s portable humidifier to Dr. Idriss’s skincare audience and supported sales through Sephora and Canopy’s website. The central creative challenge was integrating the humidifier seamlessly into Dr. Idriss’s visual world and presenting it as a natural extension of her skincare range.
The visual system centered on Dr. Idriss’s signature purple, explored through tonal variations with pink accents. The Chrome Purple humidifier and aroma kit were paired with Dr. Idriss skincare products to create a cohesive story around skin-barrier support, skincare absorption, and everyday rituals.
Working in-house at Canopy, Daryna led the project from concept through final delivery. She developed the creative direction, styling, photography, video, production, and post-production, while communicating concepts and creative solutions with Dr. Idriss’s team to keep the collaboration aligned.
To demonstrate the humidifier’s portability and integrate it into real skincare routines, Daryna created lifestyle scenarios featuring the product in a travel bag, on a bedside table, and in a bathroom during a nighttime routine. She also photographed the aroma blends with ingredients such as coconut, lime, and orchid, translating their exotic scent profiles into a vivid visual language.
The resulting stills and videos formed a flexible asset library for paid and organic social, email, web, retail, and editorial applications, while maintaining a cohesive campaign narrative.
RESULTS:
The January 2025 launch was successful, with the humidifier selling well and Canopy reaching Dr. Idriss’s established audience through a co-branded product story that felt both useful and aspirational. The campaign showed the product’s portability, skincare benefits, and aromatherapy function across everyday situations.
It supported the collaboration’s retail and ecommerce launch and appeared in Editorialist, Who What Wear, Trend Hunter, and Milled.
