Magnolia
the process
I was so content with the first layer of the work that I was afraid to ruin it with the next one. I tried a variety of water patterns and ended up choosing airy bubbles that scattered playfully across the right side of the image. This felt like more than enough to create trompe l’oeil while keeping the first layer largely intact.
